The library is pleased to invite you to a very beneficial Lunch & Learn, to be taught by Dr, Wayne Summers, the current Distinguished Chairperson and Professor of the TSYS School of Computer Science at Columbus State University.
The following is a description of what will be covered:
Securing Home Computers
Most families today have one or more computers/computing devices connected to the internet. This program will focus on:
1. The threats to our privacy and the security of computer systems and the valuable data they possess.
2. The vulnerabilities inherent in our computer systems that allow these threats to exploit our opportunities to compromise our data.
3. The controls that can be implemented to either limit the threats and/or vulnerabilities as we “secure” our computers and the valuable data
