Mary Kate Campfield & Rockette
Mary Kate Campfield of Salem, Al recently attended the All Star Dancers National Convention in New York City.
She was selected to participate in the convention when she was selected as an All Star dancer for her Lyrical Solo routine at the Kids Artistic Revue Competition in Atlanta, Ga. Mary Kate is a student of Elite Dance Academy, Inc. and member of the Dazzlin’ Dolls dance team directed by Joanne Davidson, located in Phenix City, AL.
The five-day convention included a dance workshop and a “mock audition” taught by the World Famous Radio City Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. She also attended classes at New York’s premier dance studio, The Broadway Dance Center and workshops with Broadway performers from shows such as ‘Wicked’.
The convention is coordinated by Artistic Adventures of California. Mary Kate is a 9th grade student at Smith Station High School and the daughter of Allan and Lisa Campfield of Salem.
