Grab your rocks, and let your kids work out their wiggles with this cute snail rock craft!
Supplies for Snail Rock Craft:
- Rocks!
- Plastic Container With Lid
- Cardboard
- Acrylic Paint
- Low Temp Glue Gun
- Marker Pen
- Googly Eyes
Directions:
First up make sure your chosen rocks fit into your plastic container and that the lid can go on. Then squirt small amounts of acrylic paint into your plastic pot. Pop in your rock, put the lid on and SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE! Try experimenting with different color combinations with several rocks. When you’re done, let your painted rocks dry.
To make your snail’s foot simply cut out some pieces of cardboard and paint them different colors. We suggest 4-5 inches long and 1 inch wide. Once your snail foot and snail shell are dry you can use the low temp glue gun to stick them together. (Adults only.) Finish by folding up the cardboard to make the snail’s head and then gluing or drawing on some eyes and a smile. Super cute!
