Who are we?
Raising a child is a BIG job. Georgia Strong Families is a Healthy Start Initiative that focuses on helping moms and families have a healthy pregnancy and healthy birth.
We provide care coordination, home visitation, and group sessions for pregnant women, families & caregivers of children from birth up to 18 months in Muscogee County.
What are our services?
We provide the following services (and more) for moms and families in Muscogee County:
Resources for a Healthy Baby – We provide prenatal and postnatal screening, childbirth education, parenting education, nutrition counseling, breastfeeding education, and more.
Preconception Project – We aim to work with women and men prior to conceiving a baby to improve their own health, promote family planning, and empower their success.
Fatherhood services – You don’t have to be “Super Dad” to be a Great Dad! We help you learn more about responsible fatherhood skills, traits, and practices.
LENA Start – We address the importance of talking to your baby and help families learn how to increase conversation with their child during the first few years of life.
