Mark your calendars for the Twenty-sixth running of the Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens!
Bring friends, family or business clients to “party in the pines” in the colorful Autumn setting showcased in the foothills of the Pine Mountain Ridge. Pick your favorite horse to win one of the eight races. Enjoy a day packed with entertainment ranging from tailgate competitions, hat contests and Jack Russell Terrier Races to a variety of food, children’s activities and Southern artists. Mark your calendars to attend Steeplechase the first Saturday of November every year!
WHAT: The 26th running of The Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens.
WHEN: Saturday, November 6, 2010.
10:00 a.m.- Gates open
10:30 a.m.- activities begin
11:45 a.m.- opening ceremonies followed by the races.
WHERE: The Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens site (Turn South on Nelson Road off Ga. Hwy. 18. Follow the signs.)
WHY: To have a great day in the country on a crisp Autumn day overlooking the beautiful Pine Mountain Ridge, picnicking and enjoying the thunderous sound of strong horses racing to “benefit the arts.”
HOW: Tickets are $25 for infield and $20 for an infield car pass. Rail packages and boxes are available.

~ By phone at 706-324-6252 until Noon on Thursday, November 5.
~ At the office at the Steeplechase Office at 708 Broadway in Columbus.
~ Tickets purchased after October 29 will be available at the Will Call on Race Day.
