Kreher Preserve & Nature Center
Description
Spring Break Camp
Enroll your child din the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center, 2020 Spring Break Camp. Your children will spend three days outdoors, immersed in nature, exercise, and fresh air… and a bit of education, too!
For grades 1st – 6th grades. The 3-day camp is offered from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and includes a drink and mid-morning snack. Drop off is at 7:45 a.m. Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes (that can get dirty-to play) are recommended.
Spring Break Camps are offered during both Auburn and Opelika city school spring break holidays:
- for Auburn City Schools: March 9 – 11
- for Opelika City Schools: March 16 – 18
Summer Ecology Camp
Registration re-opens May 18, 2020.
Summer Ecology Camp is a great opportunity for your children to socialize with their peers, learn about nature and the important role it has in our lives, and see wildlife up close.
Camps run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Drop off begins at 7:45 AM.
Summer Adventure Camp
Summer Adventure Camp brings students on three day-trips to some of the incredible natural and historic wonders that Alabama has to offer. From the highest peak in the state to the depths of first recorded caverns in the United States, Alabama is waiting to be explored!
Summer Adventure Camp is for upcoming 5th through 8th graders and runs Mon through Wed, July 20-22, 2020. Vans depart the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center (2222 N. College St) at 8:00 AM and return at 3:30 PM.
