You won’t want to miss this exciting immersion event as Federal soldiers occupy Westville during the Reconstruction of the South at the end of the Civil War. Visit with members of the Federal occupation force and help the Freedmen’s Bureau as they assist freed slaves to adjust to a new way of life. Welcome home returning veterans,
and sneer at the carpetbaggers who have come to take advantage of situation the South has found itself in.
