The Photographic Discovery is one of a series of two photography classes with Donald Tipton. Donald is an accomplished photographer and film maker, whose oceanic images have been published in SKINDIVER, Discover Diving, Ocean Realm, Tauchen, Unterwasser, and many more magazines & journals. His book, UPON THE FACE OF THE WATERS, is published by Circle Books in London. In the late 90’s Donald entered the world of underwater film making, pouring all is visual and creative passion into his films, Sandfloor Cathedral (2002);Waterdance (2005) and Dreaming Into Blue (2009). The Photographic Discovery will build on the Photo Fundamentals course and explore portrait technique, lighting and wildlife photography. This class will be taught on the museum grounds and there will be hands on opportunities for students.
