Are you a brother or a sister of a special needs student? If the answer is yes, then you need to meet Miss Georgia 2012, Leighton Jordan, at The Sibling Support Project presented by Easter Seals of West Georgia.
It is important to remember that a sibling has the lifelong relationship with his/her brother or sister and that a sibling is among the primary educators for helping a special needs student to integrate into society. The Sibling Support Project helps to increase the knowledge and peer support of siblings of special needs students and helps to identify and address the current issues of siblings of special needs students.
