Think Pink: Dunking For The Cure To Breast Cancer
In recognition of breast cancer awareness month, New Life Tanning Centers will be “Dunking for a Cure”
When: Saturday, October 16 from12 noon to 2 p.m.
Where: 1701 Rollins Way off Bradley Park Drive
At the event participants will help raise money for the cure by paying $3 for 3 chances to dunk New Life Tanning Centers owner Carla Plazas
in a water dunk tank. There will also be an assortment of pink baked goods available for purchase. All proceeds from the dunk tank and bake sale will go to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This fundraiser is part of New Life’s “3 Days of 30” Fall Festival event going on October 14-16. Each day the company will offer fall festival games, prizes and special discounts for customers to celebrate the arrival of fall.
One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. New Life Tanning Centers is proud to be part of helping find the cure by donating to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
