Experience the museum in new ways during our Third Thursdays programs. Exploring themes in the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions, each Third Thursday allows you the opportunity to participate through an array of activities, such as artist talks, music, dance and gallery walks.
This month’s program is Grandstands and Big Bands: Celebrating 95 years of Ft. Benning. On August 17, 1918, the U.S. Army decided to locate the Infantry School near Columbus, Georgia. Join us for a celebration and a USO themed evening with Big Band music provided by the Columbus Cavaliers! Tours of our newly renovated Ft. Benning exhibit in the History Gallery will be available.
No reservations are required. Refreshments are provided while they last.
