When was the last time you dressed in a costume? When was the last time you ran a 5k? When was the last you ran a 5k while dressed in a costume???
Never! Well here’s your chance!
The Rivertown Adventure Club is holding the inaugural Track-or-Treat Chris Patterson Memorial 5k to raise money for The Chris Patterson Scholarship Fund, a scholarship given annually to a deserving Chattahoochee Valley Community College student. The race will also honor the memory of Chris Patterson, an adventurer, runner, and costume lover. Come dressed in your most creative Halloween costume and get ready to run!
COSTUMES OPTIONAL BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in the 5k and costume competition.
We aren’t leaving the kids out of this event – they can run too! Bring the kiddos decked out in their costumes to participate in the Children’s Fun Run that will be held right before the 5K.
