Bring your family to see an upcoming display of the Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall, a three-quarter scale traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The wall will be erected on the grounds of the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center, and will be open for visitors for two weeks.
May 27 @ 10 a.m. ~ Vietnam Wall Dedication Ceremony:
Sky Soldiers will perform an air show and and their helicopters on the parade field where the aircraft will remain on display until 4:30 p.m.
The wall, which is inscribed with the names of more than 58,000 Vietnam War servicemen and women who died or are still missing, offers people who might never travel to our nation’s capital a chance to experience the monument first hand. Their visits are often very moving experiences. Directories are provided for locating names on the wall, and paper and pencils are on hand to make rubbings of the inscriptions.
