The Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve and Children’s Author, Daisy Griffin are excited to be the stewards for the Treehouse Little Free Library (#16522) on behalf of our neighbors and community! The Little Free Library is being placed in the treehouse at the Nature Playground at the Preserve.
How does it work? Simple!
We initially stock the Little Free Library with a variety of good children’s books that we hope will interest our neighbors.
The funds and decisions for which books to start with were obtained by a recent Kickstarter campaign. Thank you to all who contributed!
You stop by and take whatever catches your fancy
You return and bring books to contribute
Little Free Library books are always a gift – never for sale!
Our goal!
We hope this Treehouse Library will promote a love of reading and foster a sense of community and connection. Let’s start this off right by gathering at the playground for a grand opening. Come by and check out the new library. Bring a book to leave for others and take a book home with you to read and enjoy. I hear a few of our animals like to be read stories and might be there to enjoy a book as well!
