I never thought I’d need it…
One morning last summer my 2-year old accidentally ingested some high-powered blood pressure medication.
Panicked, I called poison control. The kind man instructed me to take my toddler to the nearest ER where doctors could to monitor him (a process he vehemently disliked).
We were fortunate. My little one was fine. But I am forever grateful that number was nearby when I needed it.
