The Voices of the Valley Youth Choral Program is dedicated to the musical and social growth of children in the Chattahoochee Valley. Through active music-making experiences, our goals are to build community and to strengthen the musical education of young people. Housed within the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University’s Riverpark Campus, the Voices of the Valley rehearses on Monday evenings from 6:45-8:15pm and participates in many community and civic events.
Children ages 9 and older are eligible to participate in the Voices of the Valley Youth Choral Program. An individual, friendly audition is required for placement into the choir. Auditions address basic factors such as pitch matching, song learning, music reading, and allow the student to meet the director as well as ask important questions.
