Editor’s Note: This event has been cancelled.
Each year, the Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery opens its doors to highlight the work done on station by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Hatchery staff conduct guided tours of the public aquarium, boardwalk, and display pool areas. Staff give pond demonstrations and provide several hands-on activities for kids.
Staff members from the Fish Technology Center and Fish Health Center also participate to inform the public of their role as stewards of species conservation by showcasing their programs. Warm Springs NFH’s Friends Group are also available to answer questions and to sign-up new members. Please join us to learn more about how the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service works to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.
