Wild Wednesdays are back!
Every Wednesday in July at 10:00 A.M., Oxbow Meadows will offer storytime and a nature-oriented program.
Admission is $5.00 per person
July 6 – Miles and Miles of Reptiles by Tish Rae, read by Charlotte Bowman, owner of MuscogeeMoms.com. Afterward, animal coordinator Jason Clark will host an exciting program on the reptiles at Oxbow Meadows.
July 13 – My Garden by Kevin Henkes, read by WRBL meteorologist, Bob Jewald. Following storytime, participants will plan a small herb garden to take home.
July 20 – Diary of a Worm by Doreen Cronin, read by cooperative extension agent, Jennifer Davidson. Participants will then build a small compost tower for your garden.
July 27 – The Littlest Owl by Caroline Pitcher, read by Dr. Spencer Garrard, CSU Coordinator of Middle Grades Education. After the reading, Oxbow welcomes Auburn University’s Southeastern Raptor Center, will offer a program on their beautiful birds of prey.
