WTVM reported today that a new pediatric acute care center will open in Columbus in November 2009.
The new facility will be located at Columbus Crossing, directly in front of the movie theater at 5555 Whittlesey Boulevard and is currently under construction.
Expected hours:
Monday – Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 8:00 p.m.
Walk-ins only. No appointment necessary.
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Currently, the only pediatric acute care center in Columbus is Pediatrics After Hours, located at 705 17th Street, Ste 107, (in the Pediatric Center across from The Medical Center). Pediatric After Hours is staffed by local pediatricians and physician assistants on a rotating basis.
